I’m a photographer based in California and I’m so glad you’re here. I specialize in weddings and portraits, and absolutely love what I do. I’ve officially been in business since 2013, but photography has always been a part of my life. Growing up my dad would always have a camera around his neck, capturing my sister and I growing up in all our awkward and awesome stages in life. In high school I followed his lead and took a film photography class, and since then I’ve been hooked. In college I interned for the school paper, and finally got a digital camera for christmas one year from my now husband Jack. Ever since then, I’ve been photographing everything and anything I could - senior session, headshots, families, businesses, corporate work, couples, events and weddings. I am so lucky that my business has grown over the years and has allowed me to travel around the world documenting beautiful people and amazing places.
There you’ll probably see a handsome bearded man making frequent appearances - that’s my husband Jack, who is my favorite person. We are high school sweethearts and got married in August of 2014 in my childhood backyard in Marin County, CA. We lived in San Francisco for five years until August 2015 when we moved to Europe for a year. We lived in the quaint town of Delft in the Netherlands while Jack completed a Fulbright Fellowship in engineering and I planned weekend trips and blogged our travels at Hogans in Holland. It was an adventure of a lifetime and a dream come true for this travel-loving girl. We're now back in the Bay Area, currently living Oakland, and love being back home with our friends and family while still close to the airport for when our wanderlust hits.
When I'm not behind my camera, you can probably find me curled up in a cozy nook reading a book, exploring a new hike, daydreaming about our next travel adventure, or window shopping in a book store. We love spending our free days outdoors, and our evenings with good friends and good food around our kitchen table.
I’m super honored that you're considering me to be your photographer, and I can’t to learn more about you.
