What a crazy wedding season it’s been so far! I have so many amazing weddings and engagement sessions to share still, but I’m so excited to have made time to FINALLY share one of my favorite sessions –  McKenzie & Ben’s Marin Headlands engagement session! I met these two on a windy day this summer for an afternoon of exploring one of my favorite childhood roaming spots, and it was so fun to photograph these two lovebirds. The wind was intense but they totally rolled with it and was the perfect excuse to snuggle in closer. We thought the fog would roll in but the afternoon stayed sunny and weirdly warm, and we ended the session with an epic sunset and champagne picnic.

I hope the photos speak for themselves, because these two are too cute for words. The way that they looked at each other, laughed, snuggled, and all around loved each other throughout their session was so beautiful and true. Their love was so authentic and real, and they weren’t afraid to hide it. Plus, their SMILES! They both have the BEST smiles and could not stop laughing with each other. It was perfection. McKenzie is the sweetest soul, so full of life and love and happiness (the videographer even joked – is your middle name joy?) and Ben just adored his bride.

I left their engagement session smiling ear to ear because being around them and photographing their love was such a breath of fresh air.  I can’t believe their wedding is FINALLY here, and I can’t wait to see them again TOMORROW and photograph their day at the gorgeous Nestldown!!
