My name is Anna Marks Hogan and I'm a photographer based in Marin County in California. I’ve officially been in business since 2013, but photography has always been an important part of my life. Growing up my dad would always have a camera around his neck, capturing my sister and me in all our awesome and awkward stages of life. In high school I followed his lead and took a film photography class, and since then I’ve been hooked. In college I interned for the school paper and finally got a digital camera for Christmas from my now husband Jack. Since then, I’ve been photographing everything and anything I could - senior sessions, headshots, families, businesses, corporate work, couples, events and weddings. I now specialize in weddings, portraits and interior design photography, snd I feel so lucky that my business has allowed me to travel the world documenting beautiful people and amazing places.
My husband Jack is my high school sweetheart, and we have two awesome kids - Zoe, who we welcomed in May 2020, and Woods, born in September 2022. After living all throughout the Bay Area and a short stint in Europe, we now live in Marin County and cherish every moment we have showing our kids our amazing hometown.

Jack and I spent our second year of marriage living in the Netherlands, and while we were there we went on many adventures throughout Europe. We love getting off a plane in a new city to wander the streets or climb a new mountain and experiencing everything the area offers.
Traveling
I try to spend as much of my free time as possible out hiking or adventuring in nature. I strongly believe that there's nothing that a bit of fresh air and sunshine can't fix.

Before we had kids, Jack and I loved to spend our weekends exploring new areas and traveling. Now, with our babies in tow, we love to keep that spirit of adventure alive by showing them our favorite spots and finding new places to explore, teaching them to appreciate all the world has to offer.
Adventures
I live for a good, dark roast coffee with a side of something sweet. Top sweet treats - an almond croissant or stroopwafel!

I love getting lost in a good book. One of my favorite things to do is to wander the stacks in an old bookshop or library and find a new story to live in. It's like a whole new adventure and life that I get to live without leaving my comfy couch!

I take great pride in being the one to capture your moments. From those first moments as bride & groom, to snuggling with your newborn, to chasing after your toddler, to embarrassing your teenager - the years really do fly by. I know that every moment with your loved ones is precious, and my heart soars when I'm able to capture your genuine smiles and the in-between moments that makes you unique. I love the candid moments - the moments that are authentic to who you are and how you play, laugh, and interact with each other. I want you to be able to look back at your photos in 20 years and be right back in that moment, remembering all the moments from stolen kisses & big hugs on your wedding day, to squishy cheeks and baby giggles with your little ones.
