When I got the email from Meg about photographing her and her fiance’s wedding, it was like a trip down memory lane. I grew up with Meg – riding bikes to school, swimming on swim team together, being babysat by her older sister – and I was so honored she had reached out. After freshman year of high school Meg and her family moved to Clovis and right away she met Chris. They went on a date to the movies and the rest was history. Twelve years later, they tied the knot is Clovis at the Copeland Gardens surrounded by their amazing family and friends. Copeland Gardens is an adorable Victorian home that is surrounded by fruit trees, a wrap around porch, and a beautiful back yard perfect for weddings. Meg’s bridesmaids stunned in gorgeous neutral dresses with a bit of sparkle, and their white and green florals accentuated the classic, laid back vibe of the whole day. Meg’s dad officiated their wedding in a touching ceremony, and Chris danced the night away with him mom in the sweetest mother-daughter dance. They had an AWESOME band during cocktail hour that kept the entire party rockin’, and they had the most delicious doughnuts for dessert (I might have eaten five of them…). The whole day was filled with so much love and joy, but my favorite part of the whole day was seeing how perfect Chris and Meg are for each other. It was plain to everyone there that they adore each other – their sweet looks at each other and their joyful attitudes all day made it clear that they were so excited to spend the rest of their lives together. I can’t tell you how happy I am that Meg found such a wonderful, supportive, loving husband, and I’m so excited to see where life takes you two. Congrats Meg & Chris!
