Ally & Gordon’s Deer Park Villa Wedding was a gorgeous celebration nestled in the redwoods. I love photographing at Deer Park Villa because I feel like I’m transported to a magical woodland setting, but it’s right outside of Fairfax, CA. I loved Ally’s choice of soft, subtle colors and think the whole theme worked so well with the romantic redwood setting. Ally looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and I loved how she paired it her gorgeous earrings and navy Manolo Blahnik shoes. Her maid of honor and sister wore a stunning Jenny Yoo dress that looked so good with the nude dresses her bridesmaids wore but still stood out from the crowd. Their whole day was so much fun and they both had huge smiles on their face throughout the entire celebration. Their wedding party was such a hoot, and their dinner in the redwoods was so romantic and intimate. It gave the entire day a really comfortable, relaxed feel, which was amazing.

My favorite part of their day was their parent dances. After a really sweet and fun first dance between the two of them, Ally welcomed her dad to the dance floor (which he was SO excited about) and then after a few circles around the dance floor, they each went and grabbed guests from the dance floor to dance with them. It was so fun and a sweet way to include special people in their day. For the mother-son dance, Gordon spent time with each of the special ladies in his life, including his foster moms, Ally’s mom, and his mom. It was such a sweet, sentimental way to celebrate every woman in his life.
