San Francisco City Hall Wedding // Alex & Raunaq’s Mayors Balcony Ceremony
I’m finally catching up on blog post for the 2018 year and starting way back at the beginning of the year with this sweet sweet day for Alex &Raunaq. These two tied the knot in a very intimate San Francisco City Hall ceremony on the Mayor’s Balcony in January and it was perfect. Fun fact, the first wedding I ever assisted was at City Hall on the Mayor’s Balcony, and I was in awe of the gorgeous space and how epic and regal that entire day felt. This day was no different, as Alex looked like a princess in her gorgeous dress and Raunaq was quite dapper in his custom suit. I loved how Alex included an awesome fur coat to battle the January cold, and she carried a bouquet made from her sweet friend Jen who hand delivered it with a big hug before the ceremony. With their families by their side and Alex’s dad performing the ceremony, these two said I Do in a ceremony full of tears and laughter. After some gorgeous time photographing them in all the best City Hall spots, we headed to the NOPA neighborhood for some quick portraits in the Panhandle before their intimate dinner with family. I adore photographing days like this because it’s focus is on the marriage and celebrating the couple instead of the additional stressors of weddings. And to top it off, Alex and Raunaq were two of the kindest, calmest, sweetest people I’ve met. CONGRATULATIONS Alex & Raunaq!!
