Torrey & Will’s Stinson Beach wedding was one that is near and dear to my heart. I met Torrey a few years ago and immediately bonded with her. She’s an incredible wedding photographer and it’s been so much fun getting to know her and I’m constantly inspired my her creativity and drive. When they got engaged last October and Torrey reached out, I was SO honored and in awe that she wanted me to capture their special day. I adore her and Will and it was so much fun being the one to document their love!
Stinson Beach is really special to Torrey, so it was a no-brainer that they’d have their wedding there. They each rented houses on the lagoon and got ready with their hilarious and amazing wedding party – the girls were in a non-stop dance party pretty much all day and were such a blast. Torrey’s mom and family did all of their flowers, and I’m completely in love with her gorgeous bouquet. Instead of doing a sit down dinner, they had a delicious taco truck that served their guests throughout the night. Torrey & Will were able to spend time with their guests and were able to enjoy their time together.
There were about a million favorite parts of this day, but the highlights were: Torrey saboring the champagne bottle, Will’s wide smile seeing Torrey walk down the aisle and her looking up at him, Torrey & Will’s dance party down the aisle after their first kiss, their dance party with their wedding party after their announcement into the reception, and their sweet first dance. Torrey & Will – thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day for you. It was such an honor to be with you on your wedding day and I’m so excited to see what you do with your future together!
The rings were a family heirloom from Will’s grandmother and grandfather, and they came with a slip of paper that had the date that his grandparents had gotten engaged. On the back side of the slip they put their own engagement date and time!
