Yosemite is a magnificent place. One weekend in January we packed up the car and drove east to spend the weekend sleeping in covered tents, wandering the mountains and enjoying this beautiful national park. With less tourists, crisp mornings, and clear, stunning days, visiting Yosemite in January was a brilliant idea.

Photographing Yosemite on film helped me slow down and take in my surroundings. I love shooting film because I spent more time crafting the image instead of just documenting what I see, and this time was no different.
