Rachel & Mile’s wedding at the Marin Art & Garden Center was the perfect representation of their love and the best example of a couple doing what they wanted to do for their day. Instead of doing a full wedding day, they chose to have a wedding luncheon, with a morning ceremony and a delicious lunch filled with tons of speeches from their loved ones. Rachel had her best friend help her put on her gown and flower crown, and they both sang throughout the getting ready to calm their nerves. Instead of having a bouquet, Rachel opted for a beautiful flower crown, which complimented her delicate wedding dress. Once they were together for their first look, all nerve dissipated and they were just as adorable and perfect as they were during their sweet Mussel Rock engagement session. They had a celebration before their ceremony for the signing of the ketubah, and it was incredibly powerful and emotion for the two of them. Their ceremony was so sweet, and their chuppah was really thoughtful. A friend made the top portion which was painted with animals, and they had ribbons hanging from the four corners with notes and well wishes written on it from all their friends and family. I can’t think of a more thoughtful and meaningful place to say “I Do”. After the ceremony they had some time for just the two of them, and then greeted their guests with the horah, led by an awesome band. During lunch they greeted each table by serving their guests challah, and then were blessed with multiple speeches from all their friends and family. They had friend speak from all walks of their lives, and it was such a sweet way to celebrate their histories and their lives together.
