I loved photographer the Lai family at their favorite park and their adorable home in Palo Alto. I had the pleasure of photographing their sweet babe Charlotte’s newborn lifestyle session back in February, and when they reached out about doing a 6 month session too, I was stoked. I photographed these two for their San Francisco engagement session a few years ago, and it was so much fun seeing them as parents and doting on their sweet girl. We explored their favorite park, played with some BUBBLES (I forgot how funny bubbles are!) and had an adorable dance party filled with lots of baby laughs.

I think it’s so smart that they want to do family sessions every few months to document their growing girl because it’s crazy how fast babies grow and change. Charlotte had developed so many personality traits in those few months between sessions and it was such a different experience photographing her at 6 months vs 1 month! I love that they value documenting this special time in their lives, and think it’s so important to capture those fleeting moments of your everyday life!
