Margo & Charlie’s Olympia’s Valley Estate wedding in Petaluma was one of my favorites. It was the perfect summer day, and it was filled with so much happiness and love. Margo is a graphic designer and she designed all of the paper and logos for the day, and I had so much fun photographing their invitation suite. I loved her shoes – Bryr clogs are my favorite! – and loved seeing her bridesmaid’s reactions to her in her dress, not to mention Charlie’s reaction when he saw her at the first look! These two are so sweet together – you can really tell they are best friends – and it was so much fun to photograph their love. I think the bridesmaids dresses were the perfect color for the scenery, and I loved the greens and whites of their bouquets. My favorite part of the day was during Margo’s dad’s speech, when he brought out tiny red cowboy boots that Margo used to love. It was such a fun surprise for her, and everyone was in tears over how cute they were. And if this day couldn’t be more perfect, their new last name is Darling, which is just perfect to describe how adorable these two are. Congrats you guys!!
