It’s so hard to believe that our year of living in Holland is coming to an end. We’ve had the most incredible adventure living in Europe – we’ve traveled to 14 different countries, eaten too many bitterballen to count, and completely fallen in love with the way of life in Holland. We’ve embraced the bike culture of riding everywhere, learned how to deal with the ever-changing weather (hailing one moment, sunny and warm the next), and I’ve come to love and appreciate the taste of delicious Belgian beer. We really can’t express enough how lucky we feel to have been able to have this adventure, especially since the weather is FINALLY turning beautiful and Holland in warm weather is unbelievably gorgeous. 

Every single place we visited and thing we did was so special to us, so it’s hard to pick our favorite trips and memories to share with you. However, if we had to choose some of our favorites, these would be some of our favorite memories from trips:

While we have had an amazing year abroad, we are excited to return home to our friends and family. We were blessed with tons of visitors this spring and lucky to be able to share this experience with them, but we still miss everyone else back home and can’t wait to see them all. Plus, I’m SO excited about the weddings I have this fall! I can’t wait to photograph beautiful couples in beautiful locations – we’ll be traveling to Vermont, Ohio, Central California, Bodega Bay, and everywhere between. Let the adventures continue!
