How is it already the end of 2019?? This year was absolutely amazing and crazy and thrilling and exhausting and beyond beautiful. I photographed 21 incredible weddings and every single was one perfect. I feel very very lucky to have the sweetest, most considerate couples as my clients, and being a part of their wedding days feels extra special because I consider them friends by the time the wedding day arrives.

2019 was not only one of my busiest wedding seasons, but it was extra special because I ended the wedding season pregnant with our little Zoe! I got pregnant in August, and I finished off my last five weddings all within my first trimester. We didn’t tell anyone we were pregnant before the end of my first trimester except for my second shooters and a few planners, and it made it extra special to know that our little Zoe was with me during these days. Not going to lie, it was rough. I was so sick the first trimester that I spent most days in bed binge watching Netflix and napping then sleeping 13+ hours every night, so the anxiety was real when these five wedding days came about. But the body is crazy, because the second I left the house the adrenaline kicked in and I freaked rocked those days. Yes, I might have been munching on saltines in the corner, but I didn’t get sick during any of the ceremonies (my biggest fear) and I completely nailed it with some of my hardest wedding days I’ve ever photographed. I mean, I shot a two day, 10+ hour Indian wedding celebration and I survived. It was like my pregnant brain was extra focused and creative, and I created some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken at these weddings. Granted, I needed about three days of recovery after each wedding, but the real battle began when I needed to start editing because morning sickness + a computer screen = death. However, I MADE IT THOUGH! I had so much anxiety for being pregnant during a wedding season because I had no idea if I would be able to make it through a long wedding day, and I’m happy to say that I not only survived, but I thrived.

So, without further ado, here is a small handful of some of my favorite moments from my 21 weddings this season! I had the hardest time narrowing it down so there are so many photos (and so many more I wanted to include, but ain’t nobody got time for a 1 million photo blog post), and every single photos in here makes me smile. I hope they make you feel the same way!

Thank you thank you thank you to my amazing couples this year who made my season beyond incredible and memorable. I do not take it lightly that I am creating your first family heirloom, and I hope you love these moments for years to come.

ENJOY!
